Q: What is V-Light?
A: V-light is a new De-dusted lightener from Matrix that can be used on or off the scalp.

Q: What is de-dusted?
A: This means the formulation prevents any lightener particles from being released into the air when mixing.

Q: Can I use heat with V-Light?
A: No, heat cannot be used with V-light.

Q: What is the processing time?
A: Up to 50 minutes.

Q: Can I use V-light as a color correction tool?
A: Yes, V-light can be used whenever lightening of any kind is needed.

Q: Is there mixing instructions or can I “dump and pour”?
A: It is recommended that you mix 1 scoop of V-Light with 1 oz of So-lite developer. Note: for European produced V-Light, mix one scoop of V-Light with 90 ml Solite or Matrix Oxydant (the US and Euro scoops are different sizes)

Q: For an on scalp service, can I use any volume of developer?
A: For on scalp applications use up to 20 volume So-Lite developer only.

Q: How many levels of lightening will I get from V-Light?
A: Up to 7 levels depending on natural level, underlying pigment, and condition of the hair.
